FIRST LEGO Grants over $483,000 to LCSS CTE STEM!

In 2019, LCSS became the 1st FIRST School District Partner in Tennessee. Throughout the past years, FIRST LEGO has greatly supported students through STEM4ALL in the Lawrence County School District. This year, they have shown a continued commitment to students through the CTE STEM Department by granting over $483,000 in robotics materials over the next 3-year period. Last week, Ms. Betsy Daniels (Sr. Innovative and Strategic Program Manager) and Kate Sample (Education Specialist) of FIRST met with Mrs. Annemarie Lampright (STEM Coordinator) and delivered the fantastic news. Over three days, the trio visited multiple school campuses throughout the district to observe LCSS classrooms in action!
