Work Ethics Matter Campaign

A community wide campaign that was established after speaking with local business and industry leaders about their concerns for the local workforce. It is a community wide initiative to encourage the overall mindset that work ethics are a key portion of being a successful employee and member of society.

Work Ethics Distinction

The Work Ethic Distinction honor benefits both students and employers by verifying students have participated in soft skills education while in high school. Students who obtain this distinction are proving to potential employers that they are both college and career ready. Students who earn the Work Ethic Distinction receive a medal to wear during their graduation ceremony.

Work Ethics Distinction Jr.

A program that is designed specifically for 5th grade students that focuses on the components of Good Attendance, Staying Drug Free, Being Positive, and a Team Player. Through this program students learn key soft skills including how to tie a tie, introduce themselves, and properly shake a hand. In addition, they will complete a school community service project, and will answer the question of “what problem do you want to solve.”
