"April is an outstanding advocate for our children and Coordinated School Health," said LCSS Director of Schools Johnny McDaniel. "She has been instrumental in leading LCSS with youth mental health issues and promoting a positive school environment. The honor is well deserved and evident of the hard work being done every day inside Lawrence County Schools"

McDaniel, alongside current Coordinated School Health Director, Jenny Golden and School Social Worker Katie Brazier, were part of the LCSS delegation present at the Coordinated School Health Institute.
