Academic Schedule

Academic schedule: Monday, January 11 - Friday, January 15, 2021

Monday - All students will engage the curriculum remotely.

Tuesday & Wednesday - Hybrid A

Thursday & Friday - Hybrid B

Winter weather may move into southern Tennessee late Sunday night and/or early morning hours Monday, January 11, 2021, making it difficult to schedule the academic day or to provide parents and guardians adequate time to arrange childcare. Lawrence County Schools will engage the TN Department of Education approved Continuous Learning Plan (CLP) by moving all students to the Remote Learning Model for Monday, January 11, 2021.

Monday, January 11, 2021, will serve as the Remote Learning day for the week. ALL students are expected to engage in the curriculum. LCSS understands that some students may have connectivity issues and will be unable to engage. For those parents and guardians, please make contact with the school or request a friend with connectivity to email the student’s teacher or principal.

Hybrid A students will attend In-Person on Tuesday, January 12th and Wednesday, January 13th.

Hybrid B students will attend In-Person on Thursday, January 14th and Friday, January 15th.

The Lawrence County School System continues to work with issues related to connectivity that rural TN counties experience. LCSS understands the inconvenience created by COVID and now, annual unpredictability of winter weather. We all will have to adapt and adjust to meet the educational needs of our children.

LCSS thanks you in advance for your cooperation, patience, and most of all, your continued understanding.
