The historic Crockett Theater hosted Students, Parents, Faculty, and Staff on May 1st to celebrate CTE students throughout Lawrence County. FFA State Degrees, SkillsUSA State Officers, CNA Certifications, Duel enrollment, Completers of multiple programs, Robotics, and STEM areas were just a few focus areas. Ms. Hope Thonmason hosted the 1st Annual Event streamed live on Facebook and featured Mr. Adkins, LCSS Director of Schools, congratulating students as they presented on stage for acknowledgment. The closing ceremony featured a heartfelt tribute to retiring CTE Construction teacher Mr. Michael Ayers. He was presented with a plaque from Mr. Akins and a special gift of thanks from the Director of CTE, Ms. Shannon Watson.

The tribute to retiring CTE teacher Mr. Michael Ayers was a touching way to close the evening, especially after such a broad showcase of student achievements. For anyone who captured that live stream or recorded the ceremony, converting closed captions for different platforms is straightforward with a tool like SRT to VTT. It’s a practical way to keep those moments accessible.

I love the focus on celebrating student talents at the CTE Stars Night! It really highlights the importance of recognizing hard work. Slope Run How do you plan to involve more students in future events?

I found a simple browser game recently that works surprisingly well for short breaks. Block Breaker runs smoothly without any setup and feels like a classic arcade throwback.

This post beautifully highlights the importance of recognizing student achievements and celebrating their hard work. Events like these truly make a difference in building confidence and motivation among young individuals. The way you described the atmosphere and purpose behind the event made it easy to visualize its impact. I recently came across a similar discussion on a review blog, and it offered an interesting perspective as well. It also reminded me how appreciation—whether through events or thoughtful gestures like those featured on https://www.gourmetgiftbasketstore.com/ can leave a lasting impression. Great coverage of such a meaningful occasion.
