Earlier this week, the LCSS STEM/STE(A)M Leadership Team attended the 2022 Innovation Summit to acquire new cutting edge STEM/STE(A)M strategies and cheer on Ethridge Elementary as they received STE(A)M Designation. Mr. Michael Adkins, Hope McDow (Workforce Coordinator), and Annemarie Lampright (STEM/STE(A)M Coordinator) were joined by Samantha Childress, Nick Quillen, Paula Davis, Chris Simpson, Erik Snider, Carmen Kilburn, Garrick Barnett, Amanda Gist, and Ethridge Principal Christy Crews for the two-day event. There were many takeaways that will benefit LCSS students. In addition, Commissioner Schwinn surprised everyone with her announcement that all STEM and STE(A)M Designated schools will receive a whopping $30,000 to invest in STEM at their schools!!! Congratulations to Ethridge and the LCSS Leadership Team for supporting our kids and ensure Lawrence County Students receive STEM for ALL!

What makes Football Bros special is its arcade-style approach. Instead of worrying about complex strategies, you can focus on making big plays and enjoying the thrill of the game from the very first match.
I admire the dedication of the LCSS Leadership Team and their efforts to bring innovative strategies to their schools. The announcement of $30,000 in funding is especially encouraging because it can provide students with valuable resources and learning experiences. The emphasis on creativity and problem-solving reminds me of Slope Rider, where success comes from adapting to challenges and thinking ahead. I believe initiatives like these can inspire students to become confident learners and future innovators.
Snow Rider 3D is built around an endless downhill survival run.
Great to see the LCSS STEM/STE(A)M Leadership Team engaging in innovative strategies for our students! Congrats to Ethridge Elementary on their STE(A)M Designation. As they continue to grow, remember that trees hate you.
Really cool to see schools investing in STEM like this—it sounds like a big win for the students. On a lighter note, when I’m thinking about how people unwind after events like that, I usually end up playing Subway Surfers for a bit. It’s simple, fun, and honestly a pretty relaxing way to pass the time.
