The CTE Exploration Station made its last stop at Lawrenceburg Public Elementary for the 2022-2023 school year on Thursday after seeing over 2,000 Pre-K - 2nd grade students throughout the Lawrence County School District. It was an exciting day that ended the tour with a visit from the founder who created the Magic Bus, Ms. Sonya Hunt!
EO Coffman and Ethridge 7th and 8th-grade students ran all the activities this past year. The year's theme was STEM Careers, and our middle school students taught centers involving woodworking, understanding tools in construction, beekeeping, nursing, cooking, electrical circuitry, aerospace design, and robotics.
CTE STEM would like to thank Ms. Hunt for her love and dedication to making a magical STEM bus, EO Coffman, Ethridge STE(A)M School, the teachers, and students for making another great year on the Bus. We especially want to thank Ms. Shannon Watson (CTE Director), who was instrumental in getting our Bus wrapped and is the steward who ensures the Bus reaches thousands of kids each year!
